Census Bureau Jobs Workshop  will be held June 15

Time: 2-4 pm.

Location: Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St.

It will be held in the Community Room and main floor of the library.

It’s free and open to public.

Title of Workshop: Q&A Workshop About Census Bureau Jobs Coming to Oswego County

Interested in making a difference in your community while making some extra money? Come learn about these competitively paid federal jobs that allow you to make your own hours while helping conduct the 2020 Census in your area.

Targeted audience: People 18 years and older curious about these job opportunities and/or anyone interested in helping out with the 2020 Census.

Presenter: Marie Rainbolt, Recruiting Assistant with the Census Bureau

Description: This workshop will provide a brief introduction to the Census & why the government conducts a census every 10 years. It will also describe the waves of temporary federal job opportunities that will become available to citizens here in Oswego County (And surrounding counties). There will be an opportunity for interested individuals to apply for these jobs right after the workshop & hands-on tech support will be available for anyone in need of it while applying on line.
