Not only did it earn several trophies, but also gained national recognition for its skill, dedication and creativity.

The group recently spent an invigorating evening looking back on its successful season and honor everyone who made it possible, as it held the end of season reception and awards celebration.

After a short reception in the cafeteria, attendees assembled in the auditorium for an exclusive sneak peek at the 2016 Season DVD, filled with the performances, highlights and behind the scene footage.

After thanking everyone for their unwavering support, Redhawk Regiment Marching Band Director Ronald Haldeman, along with various marching band staff, then recognized all first through sixth year band members.

“Never underestimate how much of a difference an adult can make in a young person’s life,” Alderman reminded the audience, urging them to continue to make a positive impact on future generations.

The night concluded with individual special recognition awards including soloist special recognition Drum Major plaque awards, senior plaques and longevity awards.

For many students, it was hailed as a surreal experience. missing or outdated ad config
