CENTRAL SQUARE, NY – Central Square School District Board of Education President Scott Duggleby is pleased to announce that the board has approved the appointment of Thomas J. Colabufo as the new CSSD superintendent.

Colabufo, who has been acting as interim superintendent since September, was approved in a special board meeting that took place on Tuesday, January 2.
Since the current interim contract was slated to end before the next regularly scheduled meeting on January 9, a special meeting was scheduled in order to address this and avoid a lapse in contract.
“Overall, the board felt Mr. Colabufo’s track record in supporting student achievement, along with his experience as a teacher and administrator made him an exemplary candidate, and we are happy to have him on board” Duggleby said. “Please join us on January 9 at 6 p.m. in the Paul V Moore High School cafeteria, as we will be holding a community reception to welcome him into this new position.”
