OSWEGO, NY – Members of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce joined local and state officials in celebrating the opening of Salvation Army’s new Oswego site with a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.

Located at 73 W. Second St., the new facility provides the Salvation Army with much larger space and allows it to accommodate the increasing amount of community members that it serves on a daily basis.
The building houses an expanded area for food preparation, storage and dining, several classrooms for educational programs, a fellowship hall and worship area, as well as conference rooms and offices for the agency’s staff.
The Oswego Salvation Army, which is part of the International Salvation Army organization, provides community members with a variety of services including a soup kitchen, food pantry, emergency services, as funds, for rent and utilities, character building programs, and social fellowship programs.
The Oswego Salvation Army is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
