Change A Life, Starting With Your Own

Learning CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator can mean the difference between knowing how to save a life or not.  The American Red Cross knows that administering CPR AED within the first few minutes of a medical emergency is crucial to the survival of the victim.  To give the public the opportunity to learn these important lifesaving skills community classes are offered regularly at the Oswego branch office of the American Red Cross.

The next opportunity to learn these basic skills is coming soon.  On Saturday October 18th there will be a CPR/AED Adult, Child and Infant class held from 9:00am to 4:00pm. at the branch office located at 333 West First Street in Oswego.  On Monday, October 20th from 5:30 – 10:30pm. there will be an Adult CPR/AED class held at the same location. Both of these classes offer the basic knowledge and skills required to perform CPR and use the AED but the extended version on Saturday will include children and infants as well as adults.

To find out how you can have the power to save a life, for more information about the American Red Cross CPR/AED classes or to register for a class you can go online to www.syrarc.org and click on the Education/Training tab or call 343-0967. “Support the Red Cross and Change a Life, starting with your own.”
