OSWEGO, NY – A trio of Charles E. Riley Elementary School students advanced to the regional of the Scripps National Spelling Bee competition.
Moving on to the next round are Travis Sova (second place), Zoe Devoid (first) and Andrew Caprin (third).
Gathering with the students are Principal Dr. Linda Doty, CER school librarian Molly Clark and speech language pathologist Cathy Mears.
The students will participate in the regional competition on March 23 at the Robinson-Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts.
