OSWEGO, NY – Resource Development Director for the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Lois Luber has announced that Cheap Seats Sports Bar & Grill will host a fundraiser for the United Way.
From 5 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 23, Lee Victory, owner of Cheap Seats Bar & Grill, will donate 20% of all proceeds to help support the United Way’s 2009 / 2010 Annual Campaign.
Victory, who worked for 32 years at the Novelis plant in Oswego is a long-time supporter of the United Way and gave annually to Novelis’ employee campaign for the United Way.
Now, as the owner of Cheap Seats Bar & Grill, in Oswego, he continues to support the efforts of the United Way and recognizes the important impact that the work of the United Way has on improving the quality of life in Oswego County.
“When Dick Delaney, a Novelis employee and member of the United Way’s Campaign Cabinet, approached me about hosting a fundraiser for the United Way I was happy to be able to lend my support. The work that the United Way does, and the programs that they help fund, provide invaluable services to families, seniors, and children in need in Oswego County. Supporting the United Way is great way to give back to the community in which we live,†said Victory.

United Way’s Annual Campaign serves as the organization’s primary fundraiser. It raises money to support the many human services programs that the United Way and its member agencies provide for those who live in Oswego County.
