Staff from ARC of Oswego County and children with special needs enjoyed the annual “A Special Time for Special People” at the Oswego County Fair.

Each year for the past sixteen years, this set-aside time allows people with disabilities to enjoy the Fair without the difficulties of peak-time crowds. This year, about 290 disabled people, or about 850 people when family members are counted, signed up to attend.

Attendees enjoyed various fair foods, were able to spin a prize wheel, play Bingo, ride all the children’s rides and two of the adult rides, and visit all the exhibits in the buildings during this volunteer-run event.
