Children’s Board Sponsors Family Skate Night

The Children’s Board of Oswego sponsored a free family skate night at the SUNY Oswego Campus Center Ice Arena on Tuesday, December 29th.

Organizers Cindy Mather and Crystal Dudley estimated that 150 skaters came out for the skate night. “It was a tremendous success,” said Mather, a longtime member of the Children’s Board. “We were thrilled to offer this opportunity to the community and based on the turn out, we will plan to include this event in our agenda of programs for next year.”

The Children’s Board sponsored the free skate evening by covering the cost of ice rental and skate rentals for the public.
