The Sterling Nature Center at 15730 Jensvold Road in Sterling offers free children’s programs specifically designed for children in grades K-6 and their parents/guardians on the second Saturday of each month. Fun with Binoculars, Pumpkin Carving, Creating Nature Mobiles, and Crafting Natural Christmas Tree Decorations have been enjoyed so far. The next event, Frozen Fun, takes place on Saturday, January 11th, from 10-11:30 am. Pre-registration is required by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling the nature center at 315-947-6143.
