SYRACUSE, NY – All are welcome to celebrate Christmas at the beautifully restored Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse.
The Cathedral reopened in September following an incredible interior and exterior restoration.
Sunday December 24 – Christmas Eve:
Church opens at 3 p.m.
4 p.m.: Young People’s Dramatization of the Nativity with Shannon Proctor, Cantor
7:15 p.m.: Mass featuring Cathedral Brass and cantor Tallon Larham (no incense)
12 a.m.: Midnight Mass with Bishop Robert Cunningham, Presider and Homilist and the Cathedral Brass with Cathedral Choir and Cantors (incense)
Monday December 25 – Christmas Day:
*No 7:30 a.m. Mass – church opens at 9 a.m.
9:45 a.m.: Mass featuring Lee Turner, trumpet and Joel Barnett, cantor (no incense)
5:10 p.m.: Mass featuring Tallon Larham, cantor (no incense)
There will also be 9:45 a.m. Mass on January 1, 2018 – the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is located at 259 E. Onondaga St., Syracuse.
Street parking is limited; parking is always available on adjacent streets and in nearby parking garages.
