S.W. Oswego United Methodist Church will host their final concert of the summer on Tuesday, August 18th at 7P.M. with Praise 7 performing.
Praise 7 is a group of area church musicians who wanted to keep singing after their respective church cantatas were done for the year. Beginning around six years ago with a plan to sing during the summer, Praise 7 now performs year round. Mike, Terry and Michelle Pawlenko, Molly Martin, Warren Blanchard, Cindy Jackson, and Dean Smith are the vocalists for the group. Abel Searor accompanies the ensemble.
Praise 7 has performed at several churches, nursing homes, coffee houses and most recently at the Fair Haven Village Park. This will be their third performance at S.W. Oswego U.M.C. Selections for the concert will range from Southern Gospel to Contemporary Christian music.
There is no charge to attend the concert. A “Love Offering†will be taken to help Praise 7 continue their music ministry. Bring lawn chairs as the concert will be outdoors, weather permitting.
