FULTON, NY -The fourth annual City of Fulton employees’ golf tournament fundraiser, held July 26, at Emerald Crest Golf Course, Palermo, raised $4,500 for Catholic Charities of Oswego County said Tom Schimpff, event chairman.
“We are extremely grateful to the city of Fulton employees for their generous support through this tournament,” said Mary Margaret Pezzella-Pekow, executive director of Oswego County Catholic Charities.
Money will be used to support the Catholic Youth Organization at Catholic Charities and will help to purchase food at Thanksgiving and Christmas times for local families in need.
“Catholic Charities mission is dedicated to caring for those in need while promoting human development, collaboration, and the elimination of poverty and injustice,” Pezzella-Pekow said. “The CYO program at Catholic Charities provides youth the opportunity to interact with their peers, establish new friendships and give back to their communities in a safe and friendly environment.”
