CNY Lyme and Tick-Borne Alliance presents to The Fulton Noon Rotary Club

Rotarian Steve Osborne and Jonah Cummings from the CNY Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Alliance

FULTON – The Fulton Noon Rotary Club recently listened to a presentation from Jonah Cummings, an Educator from the CNY Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Alliance. Jonah has been affiliated with the organization for many years. Through his own experience with the lingering effects of the disease he has developed a passion to educate others.

He spoke about tick identification, tick prevention and where to check for ticks on the body. He also talked about the different types of ticks, what diseases they carry and symptoms associated with Lyme disease (both early and chronic).

Fulton Noon Rotary meets at 12:00 noon on the first three Thursdays of the month at the Tavern on the Lock in Fulton.
