College’s EOP Summer Program Students Volunteer at Harborfest

More than 90 SUNY Oswego incoming freshmen who attended the Educational Opportunity Program's four-week college preparatory program volunteered to help in a wide variety of jobs at the 2011 Harborfest on July 29. Eleven peer leaders accompanied them. Pouring it on behind the T-shirt painting table in the Harborfest Children's Pavilion are, left rear, peer leader Karisa Clark, a SUNY Oswego senior from Glens Falls who majors in marketing, and EOP summer program volunteer Esther Bussi, a freshman business major from Bronx Leadership Academy. Foreground, volunteers Krisztina Arseneau, left, and Franchesca Marte, right, join a young artist-in-waiting. Clark received her stylish headgear from balloon man David Jackman. (SUNY Oswego photo)
