Oswego, NY –  The Farnham Unplugged at 40: Rock the Arts Halloween Bash scheduled for Saturday, October 29th at the American Foundry is gaining considerable sponsorship support from the business community, according to Jeanne M. Unger, Executive Director of Farnham Family Services.

“We are so appreciative of the numerous business partners and sponsors who have signed on to celebrate our 40th anniversary event,” said Unger. “The business community continues to show their support for our mission and our fundraising efforts.”

According to Unger, Performance Painter David Garibaldi, will headline the benefit, and join CNY bands Vitamin X, Doc Apple, and the Love Volcanoes for the event’s entertainment. In addition, there will be a silent art auction, live auction of Garibaldi’s paintings from the event, appetizers and beverages, raffles, Halloween costume contest and much more.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $50 per person, and $60 per person at the door.

“Rhythm and Hue” is a performance art show where David Garibaldi creates six-foot portraits of pop icons in minutes to music. Garibaldi began combining rhythm and hue, music and color, while listening to hip-hop artists Run DMC and Snoop Dogg while painting graffiti with his middle school friends.  A high school animation teacher encouraged Garibaldi to take his passion for graffiti and turn it into a more positive direction. According to Garibaldi, he will never forget this support and more importantly the value of someone believing in him.
