OSWEGO – Compass Federal Credit Union is pleased to inform members that its west side branch in Oswego, located at 300 West First St., will re-open on Wednesday, November 12.
The west Oswego branch has been closed since October 8 due to extensive roadside construction in its vicinity. Since its closure, Compass has been in working communication with the city of Oswego and has been notified that the construction project will reach an acceptable level of completion for Compass to re-open its doors on November 12.
The branch will return to its normal level of staffing and hours following the Veterans Day Holiday on November 11, with doors again open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“We apologize to membership for this lengthy closure; however, the city’s construction project was such that we did not feel comfortable expecting members or staff to go through such precarious measures in order to reach our parking lot,” said Compass FCU COO, Eric Morris. “We thank the city of Oswego for having open lines of communication with us and we are eager to see our dedicated west side members again on November 12.”
