Compass Federal Credit Union Awards Scholarships Totaling $14,000 to Nine Deserving Members

OSWEGO –  Compass Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Scholarship Awards, presenting $14,000 to nine deserving members.

Mexico High School Senior, Toby Caroccio, and Oswego High School Senior, Lylah Lukowski, each received $4,000 scholarships.

Caroccio will be attending Clarkson University in the fall with a major in Computer & Electrical Engineering, while Lukowski will attend the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Communications.

Megan Perkins, who will soon attend either the University of Tennessee Knoxville or Lipscomb University majoring in Nutrition, was awarded this year’s $2,000 scholarship.  Perkins will graduate from Red Creek High School.

Four more graduating seniors also earned $500 scholarships including Josie Metcalf, Ella Davis, Leah Norton and Caitlyn Colasurdo.

Metcalf, a soon to be graduate of Mexico High School, will attend SUNY New Paltz with a major in Education.  A CBA graduate, Davis will major in Neuroscience at Sacred Heart University in the fall.  Norton will attend SUNY Fredonia with a major in Music Education after graduating from Oswego High School.  Colasurdo, also an upcoming graduate of Oswego High School, will attend Quinnipiac University with a major in Accounting.

Wyatt Chamberlain and MacIntyre Gorham were selected as Continuing Education Scholarship recipients, each receiving $1,000.

Chamberlain attends Onondaga Community College studying Electrical Technology, while Gorham studies Philosophy/Humanities & Liberal Arts, also at OCC.
