OSWEGO – Compass Federal Credit Union’s longstanding Bank at School Program once again had another successful campaign during the 2025-2026 school year in both the Oswego City and Fulton City School Districts.
For more than ten years, Compass Federal Credit Union has facilitated the Bank at School program within the Oswego City School District, helping to provide real-world, hands-on banking experiences for students at any grade level. In January of 2024, the program entered Fulton’s Fairgrieve Elementary school for the first time and following a successful pilot program, Bank at School has now concluded its second full year within all elementary schools in the Fulton City School District.
Running from October through May each school year, the Compass FCU Bank at School program offers students an opportunity to deposit money into their own account at school. As part of the program, Compass opens a free account for those who participate. Students who deposit money into their savings account on each bank day are able to choose a free prize from the credit union and are then entered into a chance for a variety of year-end prizes including gift cards, local coupons and to go inside of the Compass Cash Vault for an opportunity to win up to $200.
Hundreds of students in each district took part in the program, with a select group randomly drawn as prize winners for the 2025-2026 school year.
Cash Vault winners included Fulton’s Dennis Grems, Weston Vant, Madison Wagar and Elleanna Nelson. Oswego’s Cash Vault winners were Tristen Htoo, Parker Slimmer, Adrian Cloonan, Taylor Baldwin, Zoey Vanhorn, Ella King, Grace Natoli and Sarah Stevens.
Winners of a Family 4-Pack of tickets to Compass Federal Credit Union Night at the Races at Fulton Speedway on August 22 were Aubrey Vashaw, Baylee Batchelor, Bronson Castaldo, Brylee Klink, Everleigh Russell, Gabriella Becker, Kenneth Maynes, Korbin Stock, Revson Coe and Zachary Jackson Jr.
Ice cream coupon winners for 2025-2026 were Abby Spedding, Allyana Baker, Anna Campbell, Brodin LeBaudy, Brynn Partin, Harper Crofoot, Julia Gallagher, Maverick Metcalf, Natalie Schrouder and Noah Dawson.
Recipients of a 4-pack of tickets to any remaining Syracuse Mets game include Aiden Spicer, Dominic Vanderhaden, Hailey Flett, Issac Fazzini, Isaac Murray, John Bosco Jr., Liam Walsh, Mackenzie Bristol, Santino Deluca and Wyatt Smith.
Oswego Cinema gift cards went to Addison Budd, Archer Ocello, Emerie Rose, Evelyn Campbell, John Hanusch, Juliana Shue, Kashden Lacey, Layla Lin, Mia Phallen and Wrenley Wise.
