OSWEGO – Compass Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that it has officially partnered with Plaid, a financial network that will now offer Compass members a convenient way to manage their financial apps and data.

Plaid is focused on democratizing financial services through technology, by making it easy for members to connect their financial accounts to the financial technology services they choose.

Through this new partnership Plaid will help provide a secure connection to thousands of apps for Compass members including Venmo, Betterment, Chime, Dave, Acorns, Tally and so many more.

With Plaid, connecting your Compass account is easy.

When members signup with Plaid, they will be able to select Compass Federal Credit Union from a list of financial institutions.  From there, members simply enter their Compass FCU online banking login credentials to connect.

In a matter of seconds, Plaid will then share only the information chosen by the member to the app they wish to use.  Plaid never shares a members login information with the app in use.

Plaid then works behind the scenes to build a secure, ongoing connection between the app selected and Compass FCU.

Plaid’s online security practices are designed to meet or exceed industry standards by utilizing end-to-end data encryption, cloud infrastructure, third party security reviews, strong authentication and robust monitoring.

Compass members are firmly in control of their data when using Plaid as no data is shared or sold as part of this partnership.
