OSWEGO – On August 1 at 7 p.m. the Summer Sunset Concerts Series continues in Oswego’s Breitbeck Park with a performance of the Oswego City Band directed by Donald Goodness.
Please note the earlier starting time of 7 p.m.
The highlight of the program will be a six-piece New Orleans style jazz band playing “Dixieland Front and Center.”
Other selections include “the Merry Widow” by Franz Lehar, selections from “Fiddler on the Roof,” theme from the movie “Love Story,” a medley of Frank Sinatra songs, as well as music by Cole Porter, Johann Strauss and John Philip Sousa.
All remaining concerts in the summer sunset concert series will also begin at 7 p.m.
The public is invited to attend these free concerts.
