OSWEGO COUNTY – Congressman Anthony Brindisi, a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, issued a statement on Veterans Day.

“Our Veterans answered the call to serve and protect our country and our freedoms. Today we join millions of Americans in recognizing the sacrifices our Veterans and military families made to keep us safe,” Brindisi said. As a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, I will keep working with members of both parties to honor our Veterans not only with words, but with action. On behalf of our community and our country, we thank all our Veterans for their service.”

President Trump has signed six Brindisi-authored pieces of legislation into law, five of which benefit American Veterans and servicemembers.
