FULTON – Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) welcomes Constellation and the employees of Nine Mile Point and James A. Fitzpatrick’s Clean Energy Stations as a Gold Level sponsor for its Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing event.
“We’re fortunate to count Constellation and the employees of Nine Mile Point and James A. Fitzpatrick’s Clean Energy Stations among our sponsors,” said Fund Development Coordinator Bridget Dolbear. “They have partnered with us on several of our events and we are happy to welcome them back as a sponsor of our Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing event.”
“Constellation and the employees of Nine Mile Point Clean Energy Station are proud to be able to support the important work done by Oswego County Opportunities to serve those in need across Oswego County,” said Pete Orphanos, Site Vice President- Nine Mile Point Clean Energy Station. “This community has been tremendously supportive of our company and of clean energy stations. We are committed to giving back and continuing to be an engaged part of this community.”
To be held November 1st at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, 26 East 1st Street in Oswego, OCO’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing event brings together some of the area’s most popular restaurants, eateries, and food trucks offering samples of their favorite menu items. Food stations throughout the venue will offer attendees the opportunity to enjoy a variety of delicacies, each paired with a beverage especially chosen by Eagle Beverage, to enhance each dish.
In addition to the food and beverage pairing, OCO’s unique Upcycled Art Auction returns with an array of items that have been creatively transformed for a new decorative or useful purpose. There will also be a number of drawings and live entertainment from singer/songwriter Tim Forbes.
OCO’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing serves as a fundraiser for the agency’s “There’s No Place Like A Home” initiative that focuses on providing shelter and supportive services to individuals and families facing a variety of challenges, including those with disabilities, mental health concerns, domestic violence, substance abuse, and homelessness.
