County Legislature Honors The Military

OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature joins the rest of the country to celebrate May as Military Appreciation Month.

This recognition remembers those who gave their lives in the defense of freedom and honors the men and women of all branches of our Armed Forces who have served or are currently serving the U.S.

From May to June, we demonstrate our patriotism by marking Loyalty Day (May 1), Victory in Europe (VE) Day (May 8), Military Spouse Day (May 10), Armed Forces Day (May 18), Memorial Day (May 27), and Flag Day (June 14).
