OSWEGO – Oswego County Legislature Chairman Kevin Gardner, District 13 presented commemorative plaques to Legislator Shawn Doyle, District 3 and Legislator Roy E. Reehil, District 5 at the full meeting of the Legislature in December.

The legislators were recognized for their work in marking the county’s bicentennial this year.
Doyle, also Richland Town Historian, served as the bicentennial committee chairman and Reehil, himself a published author, coordinated the design, layout and printing of the “Oswego County History, N.Y.” book, which is available from local historians.

The history books are available for $20 for hardcover and $10 for paperback.
