OSWEGO – The Oswego County Tourism Office recently held a marketing meeting for stakeholders in the local fishing industry.
Lake charter captains and river fishing guides met at CiTi in Mexico to learn about the various ways that the Tourism Office promotes this world-class fishery.
Strategies include print ads, brochure distribution, digital and social media campaigns, and attending trade shows.
Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning Director David Turner addressed the group and introduced presenters Janet Clerkin, coordinator of tourism and public information, and David Owens, marketing and design specialist.
