“We’re pleased to be able to offer this type of program to our youth,” said Jim Smiley, director of the Fulton CYO. “The After School program was established to help meet the needs of the students. The program offers area youth the opportunity to come to CYO and use our computers to do their homework and get familiar with operating a computer and using different software. Several of our computers have internet access as well to assist in any research they may need to do for their assignments.”

In addition to computer access students can also seek help from a tutor who is also part of the After School Program.

“The tutoring aspect was just a natural extension of the program. We have a college student on staff who enjoys working with the younger students and helping them with their studies,” added Smiley.
