On September 17, Oswego County Opportunities’ Head Start Programs and more than 200 other schools and Head Start Programs throughout New York State participated in Dads take your child to school day.

It’s a NYS initiative that encouraged fathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, godfathers and other significant male caregivers to take their children to school.
Approximately 9,000 dads and men became actively involved to create a positive influence on the lives of their children and the community.
