Damiano’s Eatery Donates Bagels to Women’s Cancer Screening Event

FULTON – Christina Wallace (l), advocate with Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Cancer Services Program of the North Country, meets with Denise Damiano (r), owner of Damiano’s Eatery, 3281 Main Street in Mexico, to discuss the Cancer Services Program’s Women’s Cancer Screening Day. Damiano’s, which offers a variety of made from scratch pizzas, breads and pastries, will be providing fresh bagels for those attending Women’s Cancer Screening Day. “Denise recognizes the importance of our program and is always willing to lend her support,” said Wallace. Taking place January 25^th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm, the event will be held at the ConnextCare office at 5856 Scenic Ave. in Mexico. Free Pap / Pelvic exams and Breast exams will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Individuals with insurance may schedule an appointment by calling 315-963-4133. Those without insurance should contact OCO’s Cancer Services Program at 315-592-0830.
