The Oswego County Emergency Management Office/Emergency Medical Services has extended the registration deadline for a Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Original and Basic EMT Refresher Course to be held at the Caughdenoy Fire Department in Central Square this fall.
The course will begin Sept. 3 and will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Caughdenoy Fire Department at 48 Prospect Street in Central Square through March 19, 2009. The Certified Course Instructor will be Ann Marie Howell. The registration deadline for this course has been extended to Aug. 29.
Important dates for the EMT course are the following:
Sept. 3: Course Intro/Paperwork
Sept. 3: Challenge Written Exam
Sept. 6: Challenge Practical Exam
