MEXICO – Adult students recently graduated from the Dental Assisting and Practical Nursing programs at the Center for Career and Community Education, a partnership between the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation and Cayuga Community College.

In a joint ceremony held at CiTi’s Mexico campus, each student was honored for the hard work, dedication and commitment they displayed throughout the year. In total, eight students graduated from the Dental Assisting program, while 25 students graduated from the Practical Nursing program.
CiTi District Superintendent Christopher Todd delivered a keynote speech during the ceremony, and congratulated each student for showcasing perseverance throughout the course of their respective program.
“Adult education is about opportunity, it’s about perseverance and it’s about support. “And now that you’re done with that part, it’s about customer service,” said Todd.
Following heartfelt messages delivered by instructors Adele Haskins and Elizabeth Rice, the students were presented with pins and diplomas signifying their completion of the programs. Individual student awards were also recognized, including National Technical Honor Society inductees.
