FULTON, NY – Lions International District 20-Y Governor Jill Skinner visited the Fulton Lions Club recently and inducted three new members into the club, it was announced by David Guyer, Fulton club president and zone chair.
“We were absolutely delighted to have District Governor Skinner address our club and preside over the induction of three new members,” Guyer said. “Our membership is on an upswing and we’re more united than ever in serving the greater Fulton community.”
The Fulton club also made a $1,000 donation to the district governor’s fundraising project to update and refurbish the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital multi-sensory room. Skinner explained that the room is one-of-a-kind and gives occupants a therapeutic space that can relax or stimulate a patient as needed. The room helps provide non-pharmacological pain control, stress relief, stimulation and relaxation depending on a patient’s needs.
