Diversity in Phoenix 1 Head Start Preschool Class

The children in Phoenix 1 Head Start Preschool Class at Discovery Day Care learned about Western Africa and what a typical snack would be. Donnivan Bukowski cracks an egg for the bread, while his friends Christopher Rude, Damian Fratello and Marshal Davis watch him as they wait patiently so they can put an ingredient in the bowl. The children were able to make African Rice Bread and then enjoyed the nutritious bread for snack time. Head Start is accepting fall applications. Open House at Discovery Day Care will be Wednesday, April 7th from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Please bring your child’s birth certificate, social security cards for all family members and your 2009 tax return.
