OSWEGO, N.Y., August 28, 2026 — Dockside Bar & Grill announces it has raised more than $1,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York through its Songs We’ll Never Forget Sing-Along Brunch.

The ladies-only event brought guests together on Aug. 2 for a day of singing and dancing while raising awareness for those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease. Attendees received brunch and a personal microphone while a live DJ played classic hit songs. Bottomless mimosas were also provided throughout the event.

Through the support of attendees and local community sponsors, the brunch raised more than $1,000 to help further the Alzheimer’s Association’s work throughout Central New York. Funds raised will help support local programs, caregiver resources and Alzheimer’s research.

Organizer Julie Chetney created the event in honor of her mother, who passed away from the disease.

“Music has a special way of connecting us to the people and memories that mean the most to us,” said Chetney. “Seeing so many people come together to sing, share memories and support a cause so close to my heart made the event so special. I’m grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.”

Dockside hopes to bring the sing-along brunch back next year as an annual event, continuing its support for the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
