Donna Kuhn Talks About Humane Society

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club went to the dogs … and cats Thursday.

Donna Kuhn, past president of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary, discussed her work with the Oswego County Humane Society.

She currently is fostering 14 cats for the Humane Society that are awaiting adoption.

Donna has become known for rescuing abandoned cats and has been elected vice president of the Humane Society.

The program rescues animals of all sizes from horses to cats.

She encourages supporting the society’s work.

The society provides spay/neutering of animals to prevent overpopulating of cats and dogs.

The Humane Society believes that compassionate care of animals is a community-wide responsibility.

The Humane Society encourages individuals and neighborhoods to take charge of animals in need and assist with equipment loans and encouragement.
