OSWEGO, NY – Joining the staff of Oswego County Opportunities’ Fulton Health Center is Dr. Bei Zheng, M.D. who has also been granted privileges at Oswego Hospital.
Dr. Zheng said she joined the Fulton Health Center staff because she would be able to care for a wide age range of patients from infants to older adults.
She added that she liked the warm and friendly atmosphere of both the staff and facility.
She began seeing patients in early October at OCO’s Fulton location at 522 S. Fourth St.
Dr. Zheng recently completed her family medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.
She earned her medical degree from Shanxi Medical University in Taiyuan, China.
While at the university, she was the ear, nose and throat (ENT) chief resident and later served as an attending ENT physician and assistant professor.
In addition, Dr. Zheng was a senior research assistant at the University of Texas Anderson Medical Center in Houston.
Dr. Zheng and her husband, who is also a physician, have two sons.
In her spare time, Dr. Zheng enjoys dancing, swimming and playing tennis.
