Dr. Licatese Boosts YMCA Program

OSWEGO, NY – Dr. Anthony Licatese recently presented the Oswego YMCA with a check for $1,020 in support of the Splash and Dash Youth Training Program.

On April 25, Dr. Licatese, Dr. Ryan Barker and Dr. Beth J. Dubois offered chiropractic treatments for current and former patients, as well as examinations for new patients for only $20 at their office at 55 E. Bridge St.

The proceeds of this event will support the 25 children ages 8 to 15 who are participating in the training program.

“We are so grateful to Dr. Anthony Licatese, Dr. Ryan Barker and Dr. Beth Dubois for donating their professional services to raise funds for this community youth program,” said Trish Levine, director of Health and Wellness at the Oswego YMCA.  “Our10-week Youth Splash and Dash training program is helping to develop this group of kids into physically strong kids of strong character.”

The primary objective of the Splash and Dash program is to offer a positive, healthy and fun experience while focusing on the educational, development and training skills of swimming and running.

Participants are encouraged to take part in the Tri Oswego Splash and Dash event held on June 20.

All Y training program participants will receive a training tee shirt, swim cap, water bottle and a $5 discount on the Tri Oswego event registration.

With more than 1,600 members, one in nine people living in the Oswego community is a member of Oswego YMCA.

Daily, members find the support and services they need to improve their quality of life.
