Duggleby Withdraws from Assembly Race, Throws Support To Joseph

Central Square, NY – Scott Duggleby announced today that he was withdrawing his name for consideration in the race for New York State Assemblyman from the 115th District.

Duggleby, a resident of Cleveland, in Oswego County, and President of the Central Square Board of Education said, “After serious thought and contemplation I have decided to withdraw my name from consideration in the race for the 115th Assembly seat.”

Duggleby has fully thrown his support behind Oneida County businessman and County Legislator George Joseph in the race. “George has the experience and knowledge we need to send to Albany to fix the dire problems our state faces. I support George wholeheartedly to be the candidate and win the election in November,” he said.

“George Joseph is a great businessman, a true gentleman, and one of the hardest working people I’ve ever meet. He’s exactly the kind of person our families need in Albany.” he said.

Duggleby commented that while this was not the right time for him to run he looks forward to continuing his service as President of the Central Square School Board and will seriously consider future opportunities to further his public service to the people of his community.
