Eagle Beverage Adds Brew and More To CAC Chicken Wing Fest

OSWEGO, NY – Nothing goes better with chicken wings than your favorite brew.

Eagle Beverage will ensure that those attending the fourth annual Child Advocacy Center Chicken Wing Fest will have a wide selection to choose from.  Eagle Beverage will be providing samples of a number of not only brews but hard ciders and wine as well.

“We are happy announce that we are expanding the beverage samples for this year’s chicken wing fest,” said Karrie Damm, executive director of the CAC. “Our planning committee worked with closely with Dan Dorsey Jr. of Eagle Beverage who has put together an impressive list of beverage samples including some of their newest brands.”

According to Damm, beverage choices will include beers such as Goose Island IPA, Shock Top Belgian White, Shock Top Chocolate, Oculto, Bud Light Lemonade-Rita, and Magic Hat Dream Machine to name a few.

Additionally, there will be samples of ciders including Johnny Appleseed, Stella Artois Cidre and Hazlitt’s Cider Tree.

Rounding out the samples are Brownstone Cabernet wine and Lenore Kreusch Riesling.

Scheduled for February 6, the chicken wing fest will be held at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, East First Street in Oswego, adjacent to the Best Western, from 6 to 10 p.m. with wings being served from 6 to 9 p.m.

Attendees will sample chicken wings from a variety of Oswego County’s favorite eateries.

Each restaurant will offer samples of their signature chicken wings as they compete for the CAC’s Golden Chicken Trophy for the best chicken wing.

All proceeds from the CAC’s Chicken Wing Fest will benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County, a non-profit organization that works hand-in-hand with local law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, medical providers, mental health providers, and victim advocacy professionals in Oswego County to protect and serve child victims of sexual and physical abuse.

In 2014 the CAC served more than 400 children and families in Oswego County.
