
HANNIBAL, NY – Hannibal Boy Scout Troop 780 dedicated the new Welcome sign in Hannibal on Memorial Day.
Life Scout Nate LaRock constructed the sign as his Eagle project.
The sign is located on land owned by Dick Patane in front of Freedom real estate.
Nate worked with Hannibal town supervisor Ron Greenleaf, Jack and Faye Beckwith and Patane for location of the sign.
Planning and construction of the sign took approximately 14 months.

His dad, Mike, and Ted Pittsley of Oswego Valley Millwork helped with the sign layout and fabrication.
Dan Carroll of Fulton assisted with landscape design.
Sherwin-Williams Paints in Oswego donated the paint and wood sealer.
Nate applied for and was granted a Lowes Eagle Project program $100 gift card, which he used to purchase the bricks.
D-K Manufacturing in Fulton helped with transporting materials to the site.
Travis Floral shop in Hannibal assisted with selection of perrenials.
