Belinda Viola, the cook at Discovery Day Care is dressed in a banana suit while she is reading “Your Tummy’s Talking†by Jean M. Cochran to the Phoenix 1 Head Start Preschool classroom. March is nutrition month at Discovery Day Care and the children are able to try new foods during breakfast, lunch and snack. Phoenix Head Start Application Day will be Thursday, April 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Discovery Day Care in Phoenix.
