Sandy Creek students in kindergarten through fifth grades got into the holiday spirit Dec. 19.

They sang nearly a dozen songs in front of an audience of classmates, teachers and family members.
The gymnasium was bustling with excitement and sounds of the season, with each grade level performing songs such as “Mittens and Gloves,” “If I Could Fly Like a Snowflake,” “All I Want for Christmas” and “Santa Claus is on His Way.”
The concert was a coordinated effort among classroom teachers, students and the music department, with music teacher Jackie Hobbs conducting the performance.
