The Oswego County Emergency Management Office/Emergency Medical Services will offer a Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Original and Basic EMT Refresher Course in Mexico beginning Thursday, Sept. 25.
Classes will be held Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. through March 19, 2009. The course will be held at McFee Ambulance Corps, 52 Watson Ave., Mexico.
The registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 19.
The Certified Instructor Coordinators are Norm Wallis and Dana Oliver.
Important dates are the following:
·   Sept. 25: Course Intro/Paperwork
·   Sept. 27: Written Challenge Exam
·   Oct. 2: Practice Challenge Exam
·   Oct. 4: NYS Challenge Practical Skills Exam
