OSWEGO — SUNY Oswego’s small-business arm will offer a free workshop on two dates in August designed to answer entrepreneurs’ questions about what business to start.
The two-hour workshop, “What Business Should I Start?” will take place at 1 p.m. Aug. 7, at the Oswego YMCA Armory, 265 W. First St., and again at 1 p.m. Aug. 8, at the Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St.
Chena Tucker of the college’s Small Business Development Center will lead the workshops, based on Rhonda Abrams’ best-selling book “What Business Should I Start? Seven Steps to Discovering the Ideal Business for You.”
The free session includes a copy of Abrams’ book, which helps small-business people uncover their entrepreneurial personalities and helps guide the decision on starting a business with market potential.
Those wishing to attend one of the free workshops need to preregister with SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, 315-312-3492 or [email protected]
