Events Planned To Commorate National Hospice Month

November is National Hospice Month and several area restaurants will be hosting “Hospice-Tality” days, donating a percentage of their sales to support Hospice patients and their families. In recognition of National Hospice Month in November, four Oswego County Restaurants are joining with the Friends of Oswego County Hospice to support Hospice patients and families in Oswego County. Canale’s Restaurant in Oswego, the Blue Moon Grill in Fulton, Arena’s Eis House in Mexico and Fajita Grill in Oswego will all be donating a portion of one day’s sales to Hospice.

“We are grateful that Canale’s, Blue Moon, Fajita Grill and the Eis House are supporting Hospice again this year, said Debbie Bishop, executive director of the Friends of Oswego County Hospice. “

The Blue Moon Grill will host the first “Hospice-tality” Day on Monday, November 2 during lunch and dinner. Canale’s will be the host on Monday, November 9, during lunch and dinner. Call the Friends of Hospice for special Canale’s coupons.

Arena’s Eis House sponsors Hospice-tality for dinner on Tuesday, November 17 and Fajita Grill in Oswego wraps up the events on Monday, November 23 from 5 pm to 9 pm.

The Friends of Oswego County Hospice is a not for profit organization committed to supporting Oswego County Hospice in assisting terminally ill patients and their families. Money raised by the Friends of Oswego County Hospice provides resources and supplies to patients and their families, maintains the Hospice volunteer program and funds Camp Rainbow of Hope, a bereavement program for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
