Exhibition To Feature Works Of Students New To College’s Art Programs

OSWEGO — An exhibition titled “Transitions” from March 13 to April 11 at Oswego State Downtown will showcase artwork created by students who have recently transferred into SUNY Oswego’s art disciplines.

A free public reception for the artists will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. March 27, at the branch of the College Store and Tyler Art Gallery at West First and Bridge streets in Oswego.

Art department faculty member Amy Bartell, assistant director of Tyler Art Gallery, said the exhibition will feature pieces in a variety of media, conveying themes from traditional to more experimental. Artists include students Emily Floyd, Cassandra Kaiser, Amanda Perri, Joel Schlauer, Daniel Seldes and Jason Yard.

Oswego State Downtown and its gallery are open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.
