Students at Fairgrieve Elementary School held their game day recently under beautiful skies and perfect weather conditions.
An end-of-the-year tradition, classes competed with one another in fun and camaraderie through a variety of games ranging from sack races to the izzy dizzy baseball bat relay to the “statuesque†plunger and ball torch race.
The classes rotated through the challenges and at the end of the competition, enjoyed a cool treat courtesy of Tom and Jeff Heppell and Slice and Go Deli who provided the frozen ice pop treats for the school.
Catie Cianfarano whirled around three times before taking off with bat in hand on the dizzy izzy bat relay game during Game Day at Fairgrieve Elementary School.
Paige Pierce pauses for a moment to hula hoop before continuing in the sack race at Fairgrieve Elementary School Game Day.
And the first popsicle goes to….Skyler DeMott. Tom and Jeff Heppell from Slice N Go handed out popsicles to all Game Day participants. Tom is pictured handing Skyler the first popsicle while Kindergarten teacher Kristy Occhino helps direct the traffic to the cool treats.
Savoring the sweetness. Enjoying her popsicle following a fun day of games and activities is Ayva Ouderkirk. Ayva is a kindergartner in Mrs. Fornier’s class at Fairgrieve. The frozen treats were provided by Tom and Jeff Heppell from Slice N Go in Fulton.
