Fairley Elementary School students recently transformed ordinary items such as paper plates, candy canes and pizza boxes into festive holiday decorations.

Several different stations were set up in the school cafeteria as students, parents and teachers participated in the annual craft night.
The evening featured opportunities for students to create ornaments, reindeer, angels and other holiday-inspired items.
Working alongside their parents, the students also wrote special messages and decorated holiday cards for friends and family members.
According to Principal Jody Musa, the event is a big hit each year among students, parents and staff members, and the 2015 craft night was another success.
