SANDY CREEK, NY - The First Baptist Church of Sandy Creek was saved from damage when two large evergreen tress fell to the rear of the building missing the church.
If the two trees had fallen at any other angle, the church would have suffered great damage.
The members of the congregation were grateful that they were protected from the ravages of the wind last week.
At this time of the year it is often easy to forget to give thanks for the blessings we receive.
