Farnham Family Services Announces Changing Lives Raffle

OSWEGO, NY – Farnham Family Services, an Oswego-based substance abuse treatment and prevention center, is now selling tickets for its 2009 Changing Lives Raffle.

The drawing for the raffle will be held in conjunction with the Farnham Family Services Family Fun Day, which is scheduled for Sept. 20, at Breitbeck Park in Oswego.

A total of 12 cash prizes will be awarded: 1 Grand Prize of $5,000, 2 prizes of $1,000, 3 of $500, and 6 of $250.

The raffle winners are not required to be present at the time of the drawing.

Tickets are $50 each, and only 400 will be sold.

They are available by contacting Farnham Family Services at (315) 342-4489.

Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.

If all tickets are not purchased, prizes will be based on a percentage of the existing prize format.

All ticket sale proceeds will benefit Farnham Family Services’ Student Assistance Program/Youth Services.

“Farnham is excited about our Changing Lives Raffle and the opportunities it will present some lucky winners,” said Jeanne Unger, executive director of Farnham Family Services. “All proceeds will benefit our agency’s student assistance programs and youth services.”

“Throughout our history, Farnham has provided so much to the families of Oswego and its surrounding counties, and we hope that the community will support our ongoing efforts through this fundraising initiative,” she added.

Established in 1971, Farnham Family Services is a United Way agency that offers prevention services, school-based Student Assistance, and treatment services.

All services are licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.

Offices are located in the cities of Oswego and Fulton.
